Faculty of Agriculture
Located in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, this faculty was established in 1962 as a constituent college under Sher e Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology of Kashmir. The campus spans over 230 acres, providing ample space for academic blocks, research facilities, and experimental farms.
The university-managed institution offers students a focused agricultural education supported by practical exposure to modern farming techniques and crop science research. The large campus area allows for hands-on learning in diverse agricultural practices, contributing to a conducive environment for both study and experimentation.
With its setting in Baramulla, the college benefits from the region’s varied agro-climatic conditions, offering students a unique opportunity to engage directly with local agriculture challenges and innovations.
